I just don't understand the value od fractal art. what is the diffrent with abstract? And why many peolpe love it? I'm abstract lover and I do make abstract artwork too, but I'm not really interested in fractal. Any fractal art lover or artist? Let us discuss about it!

Actually, I am not too sure how fractural art is created, but when I looked at the image, the only thing I can say is that it was beautiful. Art like that allows our minds eye to see it in many different perspectives acquiring many different images and versions of the piece we see. Therefore, I found it very interesting and would base my inspiration on. I like anything that would promote thinking, visioning, and acting on it. Do you have a larger size of this image by any chance?

I remember studying a bit about fractal art for the maths side of my teaching course. For an assignment, I had to write a paper on how maths and art can be linked together to make maths classes more inviting for children. Fractal art was one of the topics. Personally I don't fully understand it myself and not sure if I like it either. I guess if a student found pleasure in it... then good for them. I knew an artist once who made fractal designs via his computer. He tried to explain what he did and he said something about making calculations to form a certian shape or pattern. Really it was beyond me..never really enjoyed maths much. LOL

Thank you for the respond. Actually I myself don't even know that fractal has something to do with math. It sounds interesting, the combination of art and math. And I also like you, that thing was beyond me, and also I never really enjoyed maths much. LOL
