It is not that I am loveless and desperate without a date on valentines, I am actually posting this discussion for those who are in love yet alone on the hearts day because their significant other is far away from you and with impossibility to celebrate the season of love together. For me, February 14 is expectedly a loveless day because of the fact that my boyfriend is miles away and at the other side of the globe. It remains a working day for both of us. But to those who have the same situation like mine can make that hearts day more fruitful one without them. There are many ways to put the day brighter like, giving them a call. With the usual 30 minutes call, make it a little longer - one hour or so. Make it that day as a sweet conversation not a time for quarreling or arguments. If you have cravings, buy it. If you feel like going to spa, hair salon, massage or the like then go for it. Pamper yourself and treat yourself as if your loved one is there with you. In short, date yourself. Valentines is not only for those lovers out there. It is for everyone. People may be scattered everywhere on that day and you realize to be more practical, celebrate it at home or anywhere you want, convenient and comforting for you. Do not think that you wish your love to be there when it is impossible, that will make you more sad and more tempted to look for a fling. lol.. Just enjoy the day without making yourself hard that you are alone. Happy Valentines!!!

Everyone has a different opinions with respect to valentine's day. It is respected on how you consider it. When others celebrate it, there are also some who does not care to celebrate it at all. You are right, everyday is a love day. Do not wait for valentine's day to show how much you love a person is. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Valentine is for your love ones, you can also celebrate it with your close friends or family. I seldom celebrate it with my partner, I enjoy it more with my friends or family members like parents or sisters.

You're so true.. Valentine's day per se is a day of loving. Not exclusively for our significant other but also to our friends, sisters and parents. To be specific to our loved ones.
