Do you and your spouse like the same tv shows?? My hubby and I only have a few shows we watch together. He is into sci-fi and action and I love drama, news, and reality tv. We do watch prison break, american idol, and Nanny 911 together. I guess its more of of that opposites attract going on lol...

Nope. He likes the history channel, espn, discovery channel, golf, football, family guy. I like reality tv...suvivor, bachelorette, dancing with the stars, project runway, nba broadcasts(kings). We have several tv's so we just watch our shows in different rooms. We do watch movies together during the weekend.

Yes we usually do. Only thing I don't like is basketball and tennis. There are shows we do watch together and enjoy watching like pimp my ride, scare tactics, csi, american idol, news etc. But now he rarely watches tv because he's hooked on the computer lol so I watch with my kids. :)

Bruce and I both like the court and judge shows like "Judge Judy" and "People's Court". We are addicted to American Idol. Other than that he just tolerates what I watch. LOL I do have to watch his scary movies and such. I am really not into them but he watches "Big Brother" and "Clean House" with me.

Not just shows, but in Channels that we watch itself have a great contradiction. He loves sports, loves to watch News Channel etc etc. I love to watch musical channels (which he detests). But I have learnt to enjoy sports of all kinds and when he shifts to News Channel and if I know the news already I shift my concentration onto something else. But Yes, we do watch certain soaps together which is very less.

Yes, my husband and I like the same TV shows, though not every one. We both like American Idol, Smallville, Family Feud, and older shows like Little House On The Prairie. It's nice being able to share the same interest in most of the shows, even if we don't always get to watch them together. :)

We have a few shows we watch together (like Family Guy and Deal or No Deal). I love shows like CSI, Americas Most Wanted, and Without a Trace). He wouldn't watch those shows with me for anything.

The only thing my hubby and I really watch on TV are movies and Red Sox baseball games. Other than that when he has the TV he watches the Military channel or the History channel (which I will watch as well) or I watch Discovery Science, Animal planet, TLC, Food Network (which we both watch from time to time) and National Geographics channel. Yeah, we're pretty boring people. I do watch things like Lost, Notes from the Underbelly, Chuck, Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Dancing with the Stars, How I met your mother, Rules of Engagement, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and that new Christina Applegate show (can't remember the name) online, but rarely watch it on the TV, when I do he is usually on the computer playing a video game and glances over to watch from time to time. All in all, we don't watch much TV together. We sit and chat about our days and life, play video games with the kids or watch movies with them, or do other "couples time" activities together, but watching tv together is not high on the priority list.
