My mother bought me a pasta roller for christmas and I just used it for the first time tonight. Its a little hard. 1. Do I NEED to get a drying rack for the pasta or is there a more efficient way since I don't have too much room in the kitchen and not that much money? 2. Any tips on the process of making pasta to make it easier? 3. Any good noodle recipes you think I should try? 4. What other things do you do with your pasta roller? ...thanks in advance for any help!

My mom has been making pasta for years and never used a drying rack or anything. She just flours the countertops and/or wood board and lies it all out...as long as they're all separated and not sticking together they'll dry fine. I've never made pasta myself but want to try it out soon. Good luck!

if you only make small batches of pasta dough at a time you will be able to deal with it better,I have see a broom handle used to hang it over or a good strong string tied to the back of two chairs, remember it doesn't need to dry like the packaged stuff just for a time until you get it all cut then you can start to cook it, remember to have a big pot of boiling water aw well as salt and have fun
