3 men on a hike

I'm just in a lighter mood! And this is something I got in the mail today. No offence to the men out there. I know there are some smart guys out there too. Hope you enjoy the read.
Three men were hiking through a forest when they came upon a large Raging, violent river. Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed: 'God, please Give me the strength to cross the river.' Poof!.....God gave him big arms and strong legs and he was able to Swim across in about 2 hours, having almost drowned twice.
After witnessing that, the second man prayed: 'God, please give me Strength and the tools to cross the river.' Poof!......God gave him a! rowboat and strong arms and strong legs and He was able to row across in about an hour after almost capsizing once.
Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed: 'God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross the river' Poof!...He was turned into a woman. She checked the map, hiked one hundred yards up stream and walked across the bridge.

A lot of men will certainly disagree with this... but let's face it... women are more clever, smarter, and patient than men... there is no denying that...
If i am to choose to live again... i would definitely want to be born a woman again and again and again...
There is no power that can beat GIRL POWER!!!

Dear SV! it's nice toread a discussion of this kind but I read it somewhere with a small difference and that is when the third man prayed in that way, God made the person as an engineer who crossed the the river by climbing the bridge. Anyway, that also seems to be corrct as women are defnitely intelligent in many aspects.

Tee hee! Now aren't you a stinker today? LOL This so reminds me of all the times I've been on family trips. Naturally, dad would *never* even think of lowering himself to stop and ask directions. This would absolutely drive my mother buggy. Needless to say, after I started dating and my boyfriend and I would go on longer trips, I got to live her frustration too. Ugh! lol

Ha ha ha! Pray tell me, was this woman he was turned into a blonde? I need to know that because I'm blonde and tired of being put down because of my hair colour! I'm neither blonde or a bimbo, so it would be nice to see a man turned into a blonde if only to give me some satisfaction and retribution. he he he

that's really funny sviswan. any guy who get offended by this has no sense of humor. ^__^;; a joke shouldn't be taken personally as long as the one who told it didn't mean to insult anyone in particular. ^__^

That's a new take on the men will never check a map joke.
My only question is what's he going to do as a woman now and won't that be a shock to his wife unless all things in the story were a temporary condition. Take care and thanks for a fun joke.

LMAO I love it, yep it is us women that check directions, read maps, read instuctions that come with things, and we even will stop and ask directions! LOL Sorry guys but this was a really good laugh at your expense, but then again, it's not like y'all never get a good laugh at our expense.
