So alot of couples tell me that being married is the best thing thats ever happened to them. However, many tell me that its not worth it and it just causes ALOT of financial trouble. I am 19 and wondering some peoples opinions! RC

If you will make money as an issue in your relationship, then you are probably not into marriage. If from the beginning, you will be making money matters as something as important as love and respect, then from the moment you date, better do it the dutch way (meaning, pay for your own), audit any money each partner spend for everything you shared and even the money you will be spending together since time is also considered money. I've always believe that there are still wonderful relationships and marriages that we could look up to. There are lots of silent couples out there, even if they are not that rich, that live together contentedly and happily.

It is more to do with peoples personal preferences really. Their are alot of people that dont bother getting married and save the money for a house or a new car instead. However some people want a special day to celebrate their love. I do no that when my sister was married her whole wedding cost her £30000 thats without my parents help and now she is in debt but its what she wanted. hope that helps
