Alone on valentine's day?

I am sorry to hear you are feeling so low. :( ((((hugs)))) I fall for the hype of Valentine's Day as well, and feel terrible when I'm on my own that day. It's rather silly really, because it is just another day of the year. And when you think about it, there are MILLIONS of people who are also alone on valentine's day every year. I am fortunate in recent years in that I have young children in elementary school, so I can keep myself focused on the fun for them. Filling out their cards with them, choosing a treat to go with the cards, and sometimes making something special for the class (this year it is vanilla cupcakes with pink icing, coloured sprinkles, and one hershey's kiss on top). I do hope the day goes by quickly for you. February 14th only lasts 24 hours, and you can sleep through a lot of those hours. So you have even LESS time to be dealing with the day. :)

Go out and have a laugh with your single friends. Valentines day is a load of commercialised rubbish anyway.

i dont think this would be a good post.. im just wondering why people treat valentine's with big fuss.. sorry..hehe but to answer your post..i think that you should go out there and keep yourself happy for most of the day.. you will find that spending time with friends and other people is as satisfying as with a lover.. friends are the best comforter in this world..^_^ and God is, in this life..^_^
