I'm not certain it will be the Democrat candidate. Between the two, I still think Hillary will win the nomination. But I actually think it will be hard for either of them to be elected. On the other hand, I'm not sure McCain is that easy of a bet, so who knows. It is going to be interesting.....and a long, long campaign.

Thanks for your response, seems interesting, but as per the new Obama is going to win, whom do you prefer?

although Obama is my US Senator, I guess I would prefer Senator Clinton. My first choice was Romney. But between Clinton and Obama, I would select the native of Illinois vs the current Illinois resident!

If it is a Democrat, I hope it is Hillary. I don't trust Obama. At this point though, I don't think anybody can guess. I just hope Obama gets beat, even if it is a republican who beats him.

well a nice choice. I feel Hillary is going to improve ties with other countries and we can hope peace all over the world. What would you say?

I must admit that I hope that Obama wins both the nomination and the presidency. It will be a long campaign before we know for sure though. So far he is the only candidate that has a chance I am able to agree with and stand behind. Guess we will have to wait and see.

At the moment I'm going to say Obama but the way things have been going this year, who knows! One thing I feel fairly confident in saying and that is it will be either Obama or Clinton. The White House is definitely the Democrats' to lose this time so I just pray they don't find a way to screw it up and do so but I really don't think they will. People want change and they're coming out to vote in record numbers and that definitely favors Obama. Annie

What I am sure of is that whoever it is will have a hard time winning the election.Last time I never thought Bush would beat Kerry, and yet he did, and mainly because the 55 million or so who voted for Bush are Republicans who DO vote and they will vote for McCain (if he is the candidate)because they will certainly prefer a Republican to either Hillary or Obama. I think Democrats have a harder time convincing their people to go out and vote, and if they don't vote they won't win.
