As it seems he is on top already. I must say that I am going to vote but not for him. This is the man that when he got sworn in used a Kuran instead of the Holy Bible. The Kuran is the Muslim Bible. He also went to school as Hillary puts it to a radical muslim school. They are saying that this is false but even if it is, which no one can prove, what do we know. Yeah, he has a lot of great ideas, but a man that will not place his own hand over his heart for the national anthem and will not swear in on the the Bible because he does not believe in our God. The Kuran does not believe in God, it believes in Allah. Please give me your opinions on this. Thank you.

Hi dstrent, I will not vote for Obama either. I have heard some things about him that are really scary. People have told me that he is in fact a Muslim. I will vote for McCain since it looks like he has the Republican nomination. I personally would have loved to see Mike Huckabee get the Republican nomination, but there really is no chance of that now. I have also heard that if Obama becomes the next President, he is at a high risk of being assasinated. I don't know how true that is though. God bless.

Amen Springlady. It may not all be true but some of it is fact. I agree 100% with McCain or Huckabee. McCain is who we need in office. That is a man that can run a country.

Well first...it wasn't Obama in the Quran thing. It was a congressman from Minnesota. Second...Obama isn't muslim. He's a Christian and has said that time and time again and yet the rumor persists. He goes to a church here in Chicago. Yes he went to a Muslim school as a child (although he has stated it was not some radical school as everyone says). He also went to a Catholic school, no one has a problem with that. The hand over the heart thing...I think was blown way out of proportion and has nothing to do with how he could run the country. Half of Americans don't put their hand over their heart when the National Anthem is being played. It isn't some huge scandal people make it out to be. Mostly, none of this has anything to do with running a country, they are just things people find to nit-pick about. Oh and God and Allah are the same thing...I believe in neither.

I love how you speak Tally. It is pride and respect. That is for your country. If you respect it then you should do it.

Pretty interesting, seeing as how he has been a member of the United Church of Christ since 1988, and has never been a muslum. His biological father was a muslum (not surprising, since he was from Kenya) but since his parents divorced when he was two, I'm not sure he was very indoctorinated into the relegion. When exactly did he refuse to use the Bible (ie place and date?)? or refuse to lay hand to heart? I'm into facts and not hearsay, especially whenit comes toa campaign. We all know politicians will smear their opponents to make themselves look better.

I'm with you, theproperator. You see, I get so irritated by people who want to exhibit their utter ignorance on the web. I don't know why people don't to check facts. It is so irritating when and if it even comes from an American who does not have facts about his own country. Somehow, that's typical of a very large number of Americans: they lack vital information that actually affects their daily lives. I am a Zambian (in Africa, I know the average American is very poor at geopolitical map of the world!) but i am able to distinguish gutter untruth peddled by a maltitude of these guys. I know that Obama never used the Quoran when he was being sworn in; he used the Bible. Another showcase of ignorance is the dstrent's lack of knowledge on what Islam and even Christianity are. S/he thinks the Quoran is a Muslim Bible, well, perhaps they can excused for their ignorance. I also laugh when dstrent thinks God and Allah are two different deities. God and Allah are one and the same, friend. That is just the name in two different languages. Please spare these blogs and gutter ignorance!
