In the winter when the heat is on and things are very dry I have to use a seperate conditioner from my shampoo. In the summer however when my hair is not as brittle and dry I use the all in one for convience. What do you use? And does the season change your habit?

shampoo - botanical shampoo
hi jill! ^__^ i always use a separate shampoo and conditioner, no matter what the season is. i haven't used an all-in-one all my life. ^__^;; it would feel like a shampoo only if i use an all-in-one. i've gotten used to separate shampoo and conditioners. the only thing is, i don't use conditioners everyday. i use it alternately. and i can't use shampoo only for a few consecutive days because it would make my hair dry. ^__^

I've tried using products like shampoo with conditioner in one for my hair but i realized that applying shampoo and conditioner separately onto my hair is a bit better. there's a difference. i only tried shampoo with conditioner products because some fashion advice says that -- why not use shampoo with conditioner in one products to save up a little. so then i tried but it's not that working on my hair. hehehe.. So i've got to spent a little extra for my hair then.

You deserve to spend a little extra on yourself anyway!

I never use conditioner because my hair gets so limp when it's clean that I can't manage it. I use shampoo and next use a gel on my damp hair. It air dries in maybe 5-10 min. I have baby fine hair that blows all over the place unless I use hair spray or some kind of spritz. As a result, I keep it short.

I've always had horrible hair. Fine, curly when younger but now wavy. I wake up many mornings looking like Alfalfa. It's a scream when I look in the mirror.

I always use a separate conditioner. Occasionally I have used a 2 in 1 product, and a separate conditioner. And I only wash my hair every other day. I also have a leave in conditioner for frizzy days. If I'm swimming laps I used a deep conditioner right after I get out of the pool. My hair is fine and curly, so if I don't keep it moisturized it just turns into a frizz ball. I've even moisturized with olive oil before a shower during a long, dry summer. Keeping my hair moist means that after a shower all I have to do is add a bit of mouse or gel, scrunch and go.

I always use separate shampoo and conditioner. I don't believe that 2-in-1 really conditions your hair very well. Sometimes, if my hair is particularly dry from dyeing it or from heating the house in the winter, I will use 2-in-1 as shampoo and still use sperate conditioner along with it. I find doing that adds a little extra moisture to my hair.

I have always used a separate shampoo and conditioner. I did use Pert one time because it has the built in conditioner. I lost a lot of hair using it so I went back to using professional products and I've had good results.

I never use all in one shampoo because when I was younger, I read in the magazine that it doesn't do hair any good as it contains certain chemicals. Also, my hair is dry and I don't think all in one shampoo is good enough for me. I prefer to use shampoo and conditioner separately no matter in the summer or winter. I would opt for a richer conditioner in the winter time though as the hair tends to be drier.

I like to use a separate shampoo and conditioner. The combination/ all-in-one just does not work enough for my hair. I wish it would, as a separate conditioner costs more and needs more time as well. When I'm in a rush I have to use the combination but I can only do that for a few days in a row otherwise my hair would rebel on me and be super unmanageable.

I don't think there is really enough conditioner in with the shampoo to do the trick! I might be wrong but that's why I need seperate too....

I always use a separate shampoo and conditioner and even use a leave in conditioner for when my hair is getting dry from the weather. If I don't use a conditioner, perhaps because I've run out my hair is very difficult to manage and doesnt look so sleek. I have tried two-in-ones in the past but personally they don't work for me. My daughters Girl Scout group went to a professional hair stylist to learn how to take care of their hair properly. She said it was not that important on what brand products you use. Only if you have oily hair or dry hair, try to get a good brand for that. She did say that you should use a separate Shampoo and a separate conditioner, instead of an all-in-one product. That the all-in-one does not give enough condition. Your hair will dry out. There were other reasons. not sure what. I have always used separate bottles.

It depends on the length of my hair. If it's short then all in one works really good. If its longer than it has to be seperate. I like to keep mine short but sometimes, like now, I just haven't gotten up to get it cut. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
