Do you pay for your calenders or do you get them for free? I got mine from Sobeys, a grocery chain here in Canada and I actually took three of them when they were giving them away. How many do you have? I have one in my kitchen, one by my computer, and one in my livingroom. I write on all of them, things I have to do. Like doctor appointments and house cleaning days, I clean a few houses for money. What do you write on your calenders?

Between my husband and me, we collect around 8 calendars everywhere. We have to divide it among four houses where the close family lives. We don’t buy any calendars but taking into account the wide circle of friends we have, we have been able to manage it. I also get some from my office-suppliers. A very simple calendar hangs on my bedroom wall. It has no pictures, only the big dates with the holidays marked in red. It also has a space for jotting down notes. I mark daily newspaper, milk, monthly cooking gas, son’s exam schedule etc on it.

I normally recieve a good quantity from the clients whom i am serving both calanders and diaries at the beginning of the year. Infact the quantity is too large to handle and i give away some to others for their use. I do maintain a list on my calender about important deadlines to be met apart from keeping alerts on my mobile.

i always get them for free honestly. why would i buy if lots of establishments in town will give it to you for free. usually food chains and retail market distributes calendar every year and i only depend on it. buying calendars in store, especially if it is customized is a little expensive. if i wanted it to be customized, i'd print my own instead from my computer. hehehe..

I get a calender from my church and we usually get a calender from the bank. My husband gets one from the CN, but he did not get one this year. He also gets a free calender in the mail, but he tends to write things on notes and on the back of envelopes. While I mark my appointments on the calender. It is usually something special going on like showers, church meetings, choir practices, women's society, someone's birthday, and when we have to go somewhere. We do not shop at Sobeys, we find them rather a bit more expensive than at Superstore.

I usually pay for my calendars just because I really like the nice one's. My husband is from Ireland and for the 11 yrs we've been together it has become tradition that each Christmas he gives me a photo calendar of Ireland. I normally don't write on my calendars but do buy a purse calendar/journal where i keep everything written down.

I usually use the milk calendar that comes in the newspaper! The only calendar that I will pay for is one of the little ones for my wallet. I really find it's easier to use one of those than a bulky day planner. I write everything on my calendars; my work schedule, bills, appointments, b-days, etc.

I have three calendars in total, two are on my wall, one I get free every year from the transport company I used to work for, which is glossy and I like the pictures. The other is the one I always buy myself, A Leonardo DiCaprio calendar! He's my favourite actor and I've always had a crush on him! I also have a free Jack Daniels calendar which is on my desktop. I don't write dates etc on my calendars as it spoils them, I always write everything in my day to day diary on my desk. I write birthdays, appointments and reminders in there so I know what I'm doing and can easily plan on a day to day basis.

I haven't paid for a calendar in forever except as a gift. I always get one or two for xmas and there are always places of business that hand them out. I usually end up with more than I need and pass them out to whoever may need one. I do write everything on them and I save them for my writing as it is a reference to events and all that was going on at the time.

The calender that is kept on the cork board in the kitchen area is a bought calender. We get a new one every year in October when we go to the fishing show. The one in my office is a freebie. I put all of my business dates and birthdays on my office calender and out of school dates, birthdays and special occasions on the calender in the kitchen.

Actually, I do both. I buy my husband a new calander every Christmas. I try and make it a new and different calendar for a new and different year. We gert mailed the local TownPlanner calander. It a freebie. And my grandfather finds a few freebie calanders to hand out as well.

I get them for free. If you just keep your eyes open when you shop for anything, you can find a whole bunch. I get mine from work (alot of industrial suppliers give them out), the feed store and the pharmacy. My girls did buy their own this year, but that's because they spotted one with tiger pictures. My oldest is crazy about tigers, and her sister loves all animals. -Tink

Right now I have too much calendar, but I'M only using one to write things in it. Most of the time I will buy a small one that I can carry with me everywhere. I will buy it in a dollar store. The other calendar I have at my house have been giving for free.

For appointments and birthdays - a calendar
I haven't paid for a calendar since I've had my pc. There are always sites where you can get free ones. I also pick them up at nearby stores since I like to have one in every room. I usually put appointments and birthdays on mine.

I usually get them for free. I remember one time, we were talking about the lack of calendars at my home, he showed up one day giving loads of those little give away pocket calendars in a small paper bag. I started writing on my calendars when I keep forgetting things like appointments and such. I still miss a few events but it's a nice change from my usual chaotic 'what was I supposed to do today?' life.
