There is a different in taste whether it be the powdered or the cheese in packets. Some taste kind of bland while others taste good. I don't buy the brand name stuff because it's to expensive when it comes to 7 of us in the house. We use the powered kind most often and have found a great taste from the one at our local Wal-mart.

My kids, especially my 6 year old son, will only eat Kraft brand mac and cheese. They've tried it at restaurants a few times and never like it.
I personally also like the Kraft and Velveeta kind with the squeezed cheese sauce. More creamy. -Tink

Sorry but I have to side with your kids on this one. As a long time lover of Kraft Dinner, I have to say that I have yet to find another brand of mac n cheese that tastes as good as Kraft. I sound like a Kraft saleswoman. LOL! But seriously, we don't mess around with our mac n cheese here! HEE HEE!
