My husband and I both own a bike, a two wheeler, not a motorcycle, and we go bike riding a lot in the summer. It is good exercise and I love to go riding especially in the park. Now it is winter time here, so we don't do much, not any, riding and I miss it. Some people do ride their bikes in the winter though, but not us. There is just way too much snow for my liking. I know of some people who ride their bikes to work everyday. i couldn't do this because I would be too tired especially after the day is done. We take our bikes with us when we go camping and it is fun to ride by the water. How often do you go bike riding? Do you do it because you like it or just for the exercise?

I enjoy bike riding very much. Fortunately, I live in a neighborhood of flat roads which makes riding easy on my legs. However, the problem is the drivers! They race through the neighborhood at break-neck speeds, despite a posted speed limit of 35 miles per hour. The roads are very narrow so it is really unsafe for the bike rider. Our winters are mild so year-round riding is a possibility.

it's been long since i started and forced myself on learning how to ride a two wheel vehicle like bicycle. i almost killed myself but never have i succeeded in doing so. i wanted to buy a motorcycle and they say i should learn how to manage a bicycle first but whatever i do, even if i spend my whole day balancing a two-wheel drive -- i really can't. that's actually one of the things in this world that i am unfortunate of doing so.

We have a motorbike, my husband's using it going to work and to his games. He's been trying to teach me how to drive a motorbike because I don't even know how to drive a bicycle, would you believe? In my 32years on this earth, I never learned how to ride a bicycle. And my husband said, motorbike's a lot easier to learn than bicycle. I don't know when will I have the guts to learn two-wheel driving.

I ride bike almost everyday, that's how I get to work. Not a long way, about 15 minutes. In the summer it's hot and in the winter it's cold. but there are days the weather are quite well. I love the weather when it is warm, and breeze pass my face. Sometimes I can hear birds singing... I really love it.

I used to love cycling with a passion! I had a lovely mountain bike which I bought brand new especially for my 5 week tour of Scotland, I could take the front wheel of so it was easy to store in the boot of my car. I used it so much when I was up in Scotland it was wonderful. I carried on using it when I returned home, but I had a very bad accident when I was knocked down by a car and I know you have to get straight back on a bike after an accident, but I didn't I couldn't face cycling again so I sold the bike and I have never cycled since, which is a shame because it kept me fit and with my feet the way they are cycling would be better than doing all my walking on my poor sore feet!

I haven't gone bike riding in years! The two reasons being are that the roads around my home are not safe to ride a bicycle on. The 2 lane street I live on serves as a main road for commuters to get to and from work, not to mention there are no sidewalks and barely any shoulder lane if any at all, which makes it all that more dangerous for bicyclists. The other reason is because I don't even own a bike now, but why bother if I it isn't safe to do around my home anyway? :P

it used to be common for me to ride my bike 25-50 miles each day... I loved it. here there is no safe place to ride a bike - we are all highway and there is very little shoulder area - plus the drivers are not noted for their safe driving habits. to ride bike now we would need to pack them up in the car and go some distance to a park. It has been so many years i think my muscles would not permit me to ride very far or long anymore - I guess I need to start with a stationary bike and build myself back up.

Well I know how to ride a bike. I really dont like riding bikes because its really uncomfortible for me to ride a bike. I havent ridden one for several years. Its just the seats are to small for my big butt lol which makes it uncomfortible for me to ride plus there not soft you have to buy a jell seat to make it comfortible to ride a bike. But for now I just ride my stationary bike at home and at the gym for exercise.

I do love bike riding! But as with you it is winter here right now and I can't get out and it bothers me. I like it for the exercise and for the enjoyment of it! I have gotten my 7 year old enjoying it as well. She learned how to ride last fall and we are getting her a new one for grading! We will do alot of riding this year I am sure!!!I can't wait for summer to come.

I used love to go for a ride. I let a friend borrow my bike because he had no transportation. He had it for a couple years and then it got stolen out of his yard. Which was a bummer because it was such a good bike. I've been thinking of getting another one because my kids are learning how and they are going to want to go farther than just our street soon.

Well, my friend and I were thinking to have a bike riding this weekend. I was a bike rider way back when i was still in high school but it stopped on the sudden because one of our bike mate and a close friend of mine had a bike accident on our way to a friend's house. I junk my bike after that accident and for very very long time i kept it, i've just knew that it was stolen. I feel so sad about it but it's okay now. I will just have to borrow a bike from my uncle this weekend. I will gonna do eat often now for exercise purposes.

We all have bikes in my home and we love to go bike riding. We don't go long distances for the sake of tiring out the little ones to much, but I like to go out by myself once in awhile and just ride until I get tired and take a small break, usually in a park or down by the river, then I will ride back home. Usually riding throughout the year, except winter because it's just to cold and I'm not a cold weather person. We go bike riding 2-4 times a week depending on the weather and everyone's work schedules/ school schedules. Riding a bike to work wouldn't be to bad as long as I didn't live far from it like my last job. It was 15 miles away from my house so I would be to tired to work. I like to think of it as a great stress reliever plus exercise plus fun. So it's a great thing to do all around.
