Is this called for?
Surveillance footage from January 29 shows Hillsborough County deputy Charlette Marshall-Jones, 44, dumping Brian Sterner out of his wheelchair and searching him on the floor after he was brought in on a warrant after a traffic violation.
Sterner, 32, said when he was taken into a booking room and told to stand up, Jones grew agitated when he told her that he could not.
Do criminals or alleged criminals have rights? I think they do? What do you think?

I had seen that on tv. Cops like that don't deserved to be respected because they don't know how to respected disable people. It is understandable that the man can't stand because he is sitting on a wheelchair and obviously he can't stand that is why he is in the wheelchair. The cops was more of a disabled in his brains by doing that. Criminals have still the right that is why they can call their lawyers to answer such accusation. Good thing they have surveillance camera for the public to know they are unfair.

Yes , I think laws everywhere are same that a man is innocent unless proven guilty and then also he has top be treated as humanly as possible.this kind of treatment by those who are supposed to be gaurdians of law is outrageous and should be condemnd very strongly.

I saw that footage and thought it was disgusting, and I think it was a policewoman that did it, which i find even more disgusting as i like to think women have a little more compassion, I don't understand what is happening to people these days, it is a very sad thing...

All human beings have got rights and obligations.
Disabled people have greater special rights.
