Do you think we will see Armegeddon or the end of times in our lifetime? Do you believe the mark of the beast will be distributed?

No way. Doomsayers have been crowing about armageddon/rapture/end times in every single century since Christianity has existed. The end of the world has been predicted dozens and dozens of times, and they are a-l-w-a-y-s wrong. Always! So why should things be any different now? There's still no basis for any of this nonsense, and its primary function remains to rip off gullible people into buying worthless books on the subject. Does anyone remember when everyone thought that the invention of tattoos was a sign of the "mark of the beast?" How about when barcodes were first put on products in supermarkets--people made up BS stories about how the center and end markers were sixes, making every barcode carry the supposed "mark of the beast", 666? Of course, the markers on the ends and middle (to basically show the scanner where to 'look' for the code) have no numerical value. But did that stop the doomsayers from making up this garbage to scare people (not to mention get money out of them). Of course not! Not to mention that all of this is just nonsense numerology. When you realize that our number system is COMPLETELY ARBITRARY (if we had decided to count with a number system with a base of five or less, the number "666" wouldn't even exist!), you quickly realize that any attempt to infuse any sort of magical meaning into our number system is ludicrous. We could not destroy this planet if all seven billion of us focused 100% of our efforts into doing it. It can't be done by us. We are nothing to this planet. The planet will be destroyed eventually, of course, but more than likely, humanity will have gone extinct a long, LONG time before then. I'm talking billions of years into the future. This is all no different than the kind of insanity that caused there to actually be "Y2K-compliant" FLASHLIGHTS. Don't let yourself be suckered. Be realistic. Revelation was written by someone(s) who thought that stars were small enough to literally fall ONTO the Earth (surely someone inspired by God would know better than that!). Is this REALLY the kind of source one should consider authoritative in any way?

You put the whole paragraph about the barcode thing in supermarkets and how people made money off of that idea. I wonder how many books/videos were about this subject? I bet they ALL had barcodes on them too LMAO! Also, another LMAO! at the Y2K-compliant flashlights hehe!

I think, that any prophecy predicting the end of the world mostly means the end of LIFE as we've known it. Therefore, the world for human beings has ended many times before...and will do so many times again. I'm certain, that a few endings will be more profound that others...more dramatic, more violent even. But there are trends to the end of the world, and it tends to happen more or less in the same way every single time. This is just what I believe. So, we should live every day in full knowledge that tomorrow could be the end of the world. =)

I always thought that I would have to go through that, ever since I was a little kid, so yah, I think it's possible. I'm not sure what God has in store for us, but I'm ready if need be, or I'd like to think so anyway. No matter what happens, I know where I'm going, (HEAVEN). Whadda you think Lola? :o)

I think that I will go to the place of lightness, heaven...or whatever it is; wherever it is. I am ready, don't know if it will happen in my lifetime on earth or not.

Yes to all of the above. Armageddon is going to be the last war where the Lord comes back with His people and destroys Satan. I do believe in the mark of the beast. As to how it will be distributed, I'm not sure if it will be a tattoo or a chip, but it will definitely be given out to all of non Christians. We will see the end of time and the new beginning of Heaven here on Earth for those that believe. thanks for sharing and God bless

If Jewish people are believers, then that makes them a Christian. Main word being Christ. If you are of Christ, then you will go to Heaven. Doesn't matter if your Jewish, Catholic, whatever. If you believe and have God in your heart then you will be with Him throughout eternity. When did being a Jew or anything else come in to play? The question was do you believe in the mark of the beast and armegaddon. or at least that's what i was answering. God bless

Well, I hate to tell you but i am very educated on this...thank you though for trying to point out that i was stupid. another point, not all jews believe one way. there are some Christian Jews out there. I don't judge anyone, but speak truth, so don't judge me. It says plainly in the Bible, "Those that do not come to me and accept me, will be forever condemned throughout eternity." Every religion believes in something different, but Christianity isn't a religion. It's faith and it's knowing Christ and having Him in your heart. I answered the questions you asked, but i never once asked you to put me down for my faith in the Lord. again I say, God bless

Armageddon will take place, I believe it. But it won't happen simultaneously which cause the end of the universe. Armageddon will happen sporadically in certain places in the universe. A planet or star will collapse, the other planet or star will be created. The end of a "world" will be the beginning of another world. Universe is created from Supreme Consciousness. Supreme Consciousness is infinite. So the universe is finite though ultimately vast. But since the source of the universe is infinite, there won't be the end of the universe.

I've always had an underlying belief that I would see the end of the world, no idea why, I've just always felt that. As for 666, not sure about this one. It's quite a strange inclusion in the Bible and i've often wondered about it. None shall be able to buy of sell without it, well what does that mean? The bar code theory, where all items marked with a bar code include the number 666 (two thin lines longer than the rest at the begining, middle and end of a barcode)could be an example of that, but I'm damned if I'm having 666 tattooed on my head!

personally i dont know when it will all happen,im hoping that i would see it happen,in my personal interpretation of the mark of the beast is that evil thing will be done by most people without them knowing it.and its already here, its seems that crimes these days are very horrifying than crime 50 years ago...today kids are being raped and not just killed but carnage into pieces, massacre is almost every where, its like human life is not that important to those evil people at all...all the crimes today are all works of evil, which only means that the anti Christ is just around the corner waiting for the right time to rule the world.
