Jun Lozada and the Nuns

The body guards of Jun Lozada were the nuns. Does this act show us that he is telling the truth? He is surrounded by religious people. Even priest are on his side. Remember Good Friday. Even in Jesus time his trial was surrounded by thousands of Soldiers. Pontius Pilate fears a revolution. An uprising from the people. Was their fear greater and real or imaginary. The truth is all of Jesus supporter (The Apostles) run in fear and only three remained. Was Neri - taking the position of Judas? Who will betray Jun - his closest friend? Who will stand in moment of trial to support the truth you hold? When Jun, like Christ is crucified for truth - very few will be on his side. If Jesus will have the nuns surrounding him it would have been a different story.

well, we can't really tell who's telling the truth.. but i guess being surrounded by religious people keeps Lozada protected for the moment. personally, i believe Lozada is telling the truth. just considering the consistency of his stories. i don't think theres any way he can manufacture such detailed story. another factor of my belief in Lozada is the inconsistency of the PNP, relating to Lozada's kidnapping. -first, the police said a sibling (i think they referred to the brother) asked them for help. when the brother reacted and said nobody in the family asked for help, the police pointed it was the sister. but when the sister also denied asking for help, the police pointed out it was an order from Atienza. (heck!) -second, when the police were in the hot seat and questioned by the senate, you can immediately tell theres something wrong with their stories and the process. they insist it was SOP for VIPs (Lozada doesn't exactly qualify as a VIP!). then another says its SOP for people under threat (if thats the case, why didn't they say it right away instead of pointing fingers? and is that the way they protect these people? by taking away their rights and placing the person under their command instead of placing them under their responsibility?). one thing we can be very sure of, though, is that when Neri talks and tells the truth (and i mean the real truth), this government may fall apart, big time! i don't think theres any reason for him to insist that anything else he knows is protected by GMA's Executive Order yada yada..

Thank you for your comment. Lets pray that this TRUTH will set the Filipinos free from bondage of nationwide corruption. Lozada has a vision of good governance. I believe God is giving him the inspiration and the courage to seek reform in a peaceful way. We all need the courage to say TAMA NA, SOBRA NA.

Hi there ajinomoto23! Nice username! I wish we have smileys here. The only thing that I can say about Jun Lozada's going to the Church for help is that he can't trust anyone except them. Politicians, his friends, and most of all, the Police. I just hope that something good will come out of what he did and I really admire his courage.

Is the nation facing another EDSA IV? Or a Makati I - this time the battle ground will be in Makati. The Makati business Club - is testing the water, they are not sure if the Masa will support their strategy. Do we need someone like Mike Velarde who convinced Pres. Estrada to step down and accept his defeat? Who can convince GMA to step down? Susan Roces? - No. Fidel Ramos? - No. Cory Aquino? - No. No one will yet remind her of her moral obligation.
