SPECIAL REQUEST: If you watch live feeds or any other specials, please don't tell me what you know and ruin it for me. I only watch the regular show. You can hint, and if I reallllly want to know I'll ask you to expand. Thanks!! :)
Well the more I think about it, after watching tonights show, I don't think the actual couple of Ryan and Jen is that great of a twist. They both told their partners they were "dating" for 9 months instead of saying the were truly in love and looking at forever and ever. It sounded to me like they are not 100% sure they'll be together forever, making it so their coupledom means nothing.
Second, Jen said that Ryan knows she will beat him.... which is also wrong if you ask me. If I was in the house with my husband, I wouldn't care which one of us one b/c I would know the money would belong to both of us regardless.
Now I'm thinking a better twist would have been an actual husband and wife. That way they are less likely to "break up" and start flirting with others, and the drama would be way more fun.
Finally, why are Jen and Ryan's partners so upset about their relationship? If I were Allison, I'd be so happy to find out there is another couple who won't put me up for nomination. I'd feel like I had an automatic alliance with the other couple. And why on earth would Allison tell the other houseguests? That would make her and Ryan an automatic target b/c they would want to break up any possible alliances.
So what do you think about all of this??? No spoilers please :)

Well. I wasn't going to do it. I wasn't going to watch big brother AGAIN. but look at me. I ended up doing it. But I'm trying not to get as invested as I was last time.
I thought the same thing about Ryan and Jen. If you've been together for 9 months, wouldn't you..by now, be "Boyfriend and Girlfriend" rather than "dating". But I don't know I think it's a pretty lame twist too. I think they did this to grasp the same concept with the Donato's ruling the house.
As far as the partners being angry. I can see how it's nice, yeah a team who won't put us up. BUT...that makes BOTH teams at automatic target as soon as the rest of the house finds out.
Uh...have you watched the elimination yet? because I think the team that they chose to eliminate was stupid and could have been great for drama.
and... the special guests made me sick.

Well it looks like I posted this discussion twice. Oops!!
Anyway, I was going to watch it again :) I had plans to! I don't think I'm as invested b/c there are so many other shows on that I'm basically just watching to get through it.
Yes I would say Boyfriend for sure, I said that after like a week! Anyway, didn't it look like they might even live together based on their pre-show interview?
Well if it makes the teams a target, why would allison say in the preview for next week that she might tell b/c she's mad about it? Is she that stupid? I did see the episode on 2/13/08 where they eliminated the exes. I think they should have kept them in b/c they knew they would be fighting a lot and their head wasn't in the game. I think they should have eliminated a stronger team.

yeah you did. I always respond to the first rather than the second though.
As for the targets, I'm pretty sure that it gets out. Do you really think that they could keep that a secret? Because I sure as heck don't. They're jealous types and it's going to get out that they're "dating" and maybe if Allison says something she thinks she'll be able to figure some way around it. alliances and all that sort.
