let me be one of your friends to greet you a happy valentines day. yes, i am back! most of us remember our better half when this day comes and some us just simply remember our family, relatives and friends but there are a few of us who primarily thinks of ourselves and i am one of those few because i believe that love comes from someone who loves themselves first and this will reflect in everything we do. Today is like a renewing one's self, a time of reflection on how we relate to ourselves and thus translate to other people. This day is reminding us to be more caring, understanding, being kind that sums to loving. Loving ourselves first does not mean being selfish nor it does not mean to disregard respect to other people. It only means that we have to love ourselves so we can love other people more. I love you all!

heloo lakota! well, as you see am back! hope to hear from you from time to time. it is really important that we love and respect ourselves first. It all has to start from within and not from without. there are a lot of people depending on the reaction of other people " i will do this if..." which is not quite right and kind of selfish. anyways, have a pleasant valentine's day my friend, mwah!

Hey tigerdragon my I ask you, are you single too? I am single since birth. I am kinda lucky on my career but not on lovelife. You are right that we have to love ourselves first before loving someone. Because if we will not do it, the consequences is that we can share love and we will not be successful on that. ME i love myself for so long, but I am still not ready to love a man.

i am living in with a partner for a while now. just do not look for it nor expect it , if you love yourself then someone else will be attracted to you.

Love you too dear and a very wonderful message - I agree, and think more people need to learn this, you can't love others in a healthy way if you don't love yourself first.

it is really nice to hear from old friends like you and you are very correct my friend. i guess it takes people like us to share this to everyone and i hope we can at least reach one person to be a little bit kinder and less bitter with themselves. do keep in touch my dear friend!

*laughs* Interesting and very true! Then I should have started Valentine's Day by greeting myself, "I love ME". *smiles* You have made a really good point there though, we shouldn't forget to love ourselves because love extends from ourselves in the first place. Can't you tell I love me? *laughs* Thanks for the lovely reminder, I will definitely give myself an ice cream treat later ha.
