yes, my wife and I have two homes..one in the Philippines and the other in the US..
she goes home for a stay and is working on our dual citizenship as we are thinking of retiring in th Philippines in the future...so we have and are buying real estate and a house..but after two monts we both miss each other a lot...so its not easy..but it can be exciting

                    hI YOU!
It actually depends on the circumstance. Many a times we have live separately even after being married for certain factors like pursuing studies, job placement and kids. But I am sure that is for the time being. The settlements should be for longterm benefits and not just like that without any substantial reason. High quality of living, ensuring a better future for family are but acceptable but only an attitude to live separately for our space is not done.
Thanks.
