It's Valentines day, so get out there and LOVE! I hope you all have an enjoyable day. I got my hubby a "Scooby-Doo" figure holding a "Be My Valentine" card and singing "Be My Baby" LOL, it's a hoot. He collects them so I was lucky to find it. I also got him some chocolates. What do you get a guy that has it all LOL. so, what did everyone do and get today?

My live-in and I made a deal that we were not going to waste money on the card and chocolates thing. I don't need the chocolate or the clutter. We had plans to make a special dinner tonight, together. That was the plan. Then this morning he brings me a box of chocolates and a card. Now, I suppose I am going to have to return the favor. Plus fix dinner. I am so disappointed. If he wanted to spend that money (about $15.00) on me, I would have rather he bought me a savings bond.
Sorry to vent and I know it sounds like I am unappreciative, but we did have a deal. And he broke it.

A deal is a deal, but maybe he wanted to surprise you. Why can't you still go out for dinner as your treat to him? I doubt you could buy a savings bond for $15 LOL. Be happy for what you have with each other and tell him not to be so sneaky next time!
