Is it possible to have a family friendly social site? So many people hate to be censered and I understand that, myspace allows you to basically post whatever you like, sometimes they do make your remove something if enough people complain.
On Yuwie you won't see alot of what you do on Myspace, but I know alot of people who like it that way.
I myself like some of what Yuwie is trying to do...when anyone under the age of 18 signs up to Yuwie their profile is automaticaly set to private...Yuwie takes steps to insure that teens are not subjected to prendaters(sorry can't spell) and they are trying to give teens a way to interact with their friends at a site that parents would like. They reward you for reporting unapproverate content...some people call it "snitching" orthers call it a way to keep Yuwie a family friendly site. Plus yes you can make money..is is a get rich quick scheme? No.
So this all being said what is your take on Yuwie? A family friendly social site, yes or no?

Yes Yuwie is pretty family friendly which is a good thing, but I don't go on there as much as I used to. I have met some great people there but have not been able to refer many people (they are too caught up on myspace or facebook or whatever.. even though it doesn't pay!) and I have made peanuts as a result. I think mylot and some other sites are better than that if you want to make more cash.

Well I do find it more family friendly than other sites, I still see some things that I don't allow my 5 y/o to see and if he can't see it, then it isn't really family friendly, just now as bad..I have had to not accept some comments because of too much flesh or something I don't agree with. But I am also very choosy about what my kids are exposed to, so yuwie is good, but there is still some flaws..

Yes, I have to agree with you that Yuwie leans towards being a family friendly social site. Trying to keep it a clean place for people to hang out. I try to log on there as much as I can. But I have to say I put most of my time and effort in here at MyLot. I make much more here than there. Especially just depending on my work.
