Dale Jr finishes first in the first of these two 150 mile races today. Sorenson second. Both with great showings today. A nice failry clean race as well.Well it was great seeing Jr doing so well this time around. A shame that all the Hendricks cars were sent to the back. This was due to engine problems in each of their 4 cars all being sent to the back of the pack at the start of the race. just an odd occurance that it's all 4 engines. Oh well I am hoping Jr in the 88 with the great color scheme does great this year. Did you watch the race? Do you have a fave driver or no prefrence really? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I'm watching the rebroadcasting of it right now. I'm a Tony Stewart fan so I'm anxious to see where he ends up!

Dale Jr. winning the first duel was like a monkey winning the monkey special olympics. There was no one in that race worth a darn other than Jimmy Johnson and he quit before the end to keep from messing up his car. All the real contenders were in the second race. Stewart, Hamlin, Gordon, Kyle Busch, Harvick, Martin and Kenseth. Good for Jr. but winning the money special olympics just makes you the best monkey. It won't mean anything come Sunday.

I'm guessing you're a #20 fan. Honnestly I think his year is going to be less than stellar, he's going to have to controll his temper.

I was once the biggest fan in the world but I must admit I've gotten a bit bored the past year or two with the same drivers being up front all the time. I'm one of those who likes to root for the underdog and the underdogs haven't had a prayer recently. I didn't watch my recording of the qualifiers yet but I was really happy to hear that both Dale Jarrett and John Andretti qualified. I know they're not going to win, but I'm glad they're in it. I also like Gordon, but the "other" Gordon, Robby. I know he's outspoken but I guess that's what I like about him, besides he's REALLY cute...lol. I like that he's so versatile and has raced pretty much everything with wheels on it and I also like to see a driver/owner do well, which doesn't happen much these days. Annie

JR's gonna have a great year. He's finally with a team that cares about all of their drivers. HMS will take care of him. I didn't get to watch the race, I was too busy. I won't be busy come sunday though!!!! I'm a #24 fan, but I was tickled that JR joined HMS... I dont' think anyone on this planet could have been happier about JR's win last weekend than my mom was. She had alot of reservations about him joining Jeff and Jimmie, because she thought the egos would get in the way. When she saw how the three of them were working together last weekend, she changed her mind. She was actually crying when JR won last weekend. I been tellin her since he broke the news that he would be going to Hendrick that it's going to be the best move he's ever made...

I'm a Gordon fan and have been since I was seven. I though the first race was good and I am glad Jr. ended up winning. He is a great driver and I am happy he joined Hendrick Motorsports. This team was a powerhouse and now they just got even better. I though the second race was even better though. Not just because the 24 car was in it, but I though there was better racing and the effort given by Michael Waltrip and some others to get Dale Jarret into the 500 was absolutley awesome. The race was alot of fun to watch and was good and clean. Can't wait until Sunday.
