Today is Valentine's Day, and I've seen a post about the most romantic movies ever. But what about the movies that were made to be romantic, they were supposed to be romantic, yet they weren't romantic at all. Have you ever seen a movie that you thought would have a great romance, and it was just so terrible you couldn't believe it was labeled 'romantic'? Which movie would that be?

I rarely watch movies...so you tell me, what is the least romantic movie?

It's definitely the movie I told the first responder about, Forces of Nature. It starred Sandra Bullock and Ben Afleck. I thought it would be this zany romantic comedy, totally not the norm. But they didn't even end up together! He got back with his ex fiancee (Maura Tierney from ER) who bored me to tears!

There have been too many to mention. Let's just say any " Romantic Comedy" that was made between 1990 and today.

To tell the truth, I don't even try them. I remember the good romantic comedies of the 80's like Moon struck and Cousins.Movies that were equally funny and romantic. It seems like the movies today are trying too hard to be funny and they aren't romantic at all.

Great question! I honestly have to say "Titanic". Don't get me wrong, I actually liked that movie but I didn't see it as a love story at all. And another movie that I LOVED but just didn't think was romantic is "Jerry Maguire". He (Jerry) treated that poor girl (Renee Zellweger's character)like dirt! Like he had to force himself to fall in love with her or something. But I do love the one line from that movie, which I DO think is one of the most romantic lines ever: "You complete me". Oh how I wish my hubby would say that line to me!

I am so glad someone mentioned Jerry Maguire! I thought it was going to be so great because everyone was going ga ga over it. What a disappointment! And to be honest, I have never seen Titanic. I didn't see what would be romantic about a skinny 14 year old looking boy having a short affair with a 25 year old looking woman. I know they weren't really those ages, but it reminded me a bit of a teacher sleeping with their teenage student. I hope no one attacks me for saying that, lol.
