I have been able see 24 years of valentine's day, and it has yet to excite me. The candy, cards, gifts, flowers, stuffed animals, resevations, trips, you get my drift. But why is it not a consistant action? Why do we dedicate one day out of 365 to tell someone how we really feel about them? What if ur special someone passed the night or day before? What would you have to say then? I don't celebrate it because there is no point. If u can't love me any other day then don't love me Feb. 14th! It's crazy. People break their necks to find that special gift that was in the store the whole year! Only difference is the prices are jacked up than they would have been the day after. Or that after v-day sale is only the regular store price u didn't pay attention to last month. I just thought that I would put some realization back in to today.................. Let me know what ur thought are on this subject.

hi laydlexius ^^ i understand your point..it is so correct:)..lovers shouldnt just make the valentine's day a day to their loved ones..they can do it everyday so why not make it a hobbit every single day...^^ yet i also believe in celebrating it with somebody you love...you may have celebrated each day like valentine's day however there's always a special day to everything...there's always that momentous time to spend with your spouse and that's the Valentine's Day.. isnt it great to spend the Heart's Day with your partner and also with the whole world celebrating it too?!..i just thought that would be awesome..-^__^- anyway, Have a joyous Valentine's Day laydlexius!!! :)

sure that would be nice, but, as the day to day grind wears us down we people do tend to push things aside and take each other for granted - if people wish to set a day aside to remind their sweet hearts how they love them - wonderful! if every day is special, well it would not be so special anymore, now would it? Saint Valentine, though, I think would shudder to learn what has become of his feast day.

I don't know exactly. I wrote a blog regarding valentines actually, I wonder if people only buy flowers, balloons, and gifts for their special someone during Valentines day. I saw lots of men and women carried flowers and others yesterday for the sake of the occasion. How nice it would be if I see people acting like everyday. it's so cute and wonderful to look at. How nice to treat everyday as Valentines Day.

I understand ur point. I am alone but not long. v-day is just a ordinary day for me,so far i have never been together with my lover .I think v-day not means spending much money to your lover, just watching movie with him, dringking coffee with him, chatting withou disturbing with him ,or staying at home see DVD which both of u like, these are all romantic and sweet. With people u love, everday will be v-day !!!Do not u think that???
