I love to read, I always have. I find reading takes me away to a world that I would not be able to visit otherwise. I think that imagination plays the main role in this. However, I also think that having an author that writes with heart, knowledge of human nature and feeling, is essential in creating a book that stirs the imagination. That is why one of my favorite authers is none other than Jane Austen. I love her style of writing and the feelings that she conveyed through her writing. She was a woman of her time and I think she understand the heart and the nature of man more better than most young female authors of her time period and this definately shines through to her writing. With that being said, who is your favorite author?

My fav author is Dean Koontz and James Patterson...sorry I can't pick just one :). I just love the stuff they come up with. Koontz writes mostly suspense/horror and Patterson is a suspense/drama writer. He writes alot about a character called Alex Cross. They are really awesome books. Some were even made into movies.

Mine is C S Lewis. He stirs my imagination and he gives lot of Philosophical stuffs in his writings. But nowadays my interest is shifting towards N T Wright. I love Dostoyevsky too.
