(I previously posted this discussion and I wanted to correct it. Sorry, it's really late here and it's been a long day and I was rushing when I posted it. My bad, sorrrry!. On that note, please disregard the previous discussion on this topic and comment on this one if you can. I would greatly appreciate it! Anyway, here is another post on this discussion, with corrections). I love to read and I always have. I find that reading a good book takes me away to a world that I would not be able to visit otherwise. However, while a good imagination is definately something needed when reading a novel, I think that reading a novel written by a great author is a definate plus and stirs the imagination into action... One of my favorite authors is the 18th century author Jane Austen. She wrote with a great understanding of human nature, human feeling and the time period she lived in. She conveyed all these in the most detailed way in her novels and I think this is what made her one of the best authors of her century and perhaps those that followed. With that being said, who is your favorite author?

I don't think I can say I have one favourite author as depends on what mood I am in. Tom Clancy for example gives detail and tension, whilst Louis L'Amour gives an uncomplicated read, Dic k Francis provides intrigue, and Agatha Christie provides mystery.
