I am so confused.....

we make a lot of friends because of the really friendly community here. yes, some don't respond to discussions. it could be sometimes that they are not notified of the new discussions. i read somewhere that e-mails sent sometimes tended to get lost. but it could also be people are also busy too with doing their own stuff. sometimes, they might forget to respond too. it could also be that the people are not really interested in the topics started thus they do not respond as they have nothing to contribute. sometimes, i fall into that category. i tend to miss some topics as i am either not interested, or have no idea about the topic thus can't say anything. of course, there are those who forget all about it and also expect us to see their posts. but like someone said, concentrate on the ones who do respond to you and try and respond back to them. i also don't respond to many of my friends but i have not deleted them. i think it doesn't really matter for me anyway since even if they are not contributing, they are not doing any harm to me. have a great day.

Hi Fairanny, most people on here are lovely and have great manners and respond to your responses on the discussions, they are a few that don't, but that is life. Concentrate on the people who can relate too and have things in common with. I have many inactive friends but I haven't deleted them. It could be that they just have other stuff going on in their lives right now and haven't got so much time to spend on my lot. I am more selective now than when I first joined and will only approve people I have things in common with. You are right 'courtesy demands reciprocity' as manners do cost nothing. Yes there will always be some here just for the money but most are genuine friendly people who will respond. Thank you for your good wishes for the year ahead. BIG HUGS Ellie :D

Response is a two-way affair. But then, while reading some of the topics/comments, one tends to give a thought in return based on the idea flows that time. You may watch for some more time( as you deem fit) to delete yr friends' circle here. Meritoriously DEAL IT before you decide to DELETE. S'U'CCESS can never be without yo(U). I don't delete anyone who doesn't answer my discussions. To me it's just not that important. People answer or don't answer for whatever reason. Maybe they no longer come to the site. They sign up and for whatever reason they don't come back. maybe the discussions don't interest them. There could be many reasons but for me to take it personally is just not necessary. If you want to delete them then do it it's your choice.

I know exactly what you are talking about...almost all of the people that I have met on here have been really nice to me and they have tried to help me with whatever problem I have had..which honestly is alot more than I can say about other forums that i am apart of...I just come here mostly for the fun and the people on here...but I don't know why people don't go to their friends discussions unless they don't have anything positive to add to their discussion..or maybe they do have so many friends that they don't have the time to go and answer all of their discussions...I dont understand why people add so many friends..unless they just really like what the people have to say and they just want to add them hoping that they can help them in any future questions that they might have...I try to visit my friends as often as I possibly can..but still i don't get around to all of them all of the time..I try though...I really do like the people alot on mylot(didn't mean for that to rhyme lol)and I will try and help people with their problems as much as I can...hope to answer some of your other questions sooner or later...

Hi fairyanny,I'm afraid you just realized how Internet REALLY works. A lot of people start out with all the best intentions, but, just as in real life, they soon find out that they don't have the time to answer all the e-mails they get, upload Facebook pictures, write new Associated Content and still have a normal life. The only advice I can give you is to stick to the ones that DO reply to your mails, that read your discussions, and to consider all the rest as an important lesson learned in life. I'm normally not this serious about things, but look at it this way: if out of every 100 people you meet you get to keep 1 good friend, you are very, very lucky. But at least you 'll know who to focus your interest on. Stay positive and never ever loose faith!!!!

Yes, I know we should try and respond to all our friends’ discussions but it is just not possible all the time. And then I don’t like all the discussions that I see so I select and respond. But I make sure that sometime or the other I respond to all my friends by turn and try to keep them happy. And yes, I have never yet refused any friend request so all my friends are valuable to me.

Hi fairyanny, I appreciate the saying “courtesy demands reciprocity”. I totally agree that there must be give and take. Lopsided business should always be discouraged. It is a natural rule of our social living. So that it is why we feel so disappointed if we do not get any responses from friends to whom we have been posting our responses all the time. I did delete some avatars which remained inert for quite a long period of time. Most of them with posting number under 10 and even didn’t creat any discussion in their profile. Here, I do have friends who are helpful, sincere and enthusiastic, to make the community life here pretty joyful. Happy Chinese New Year.

You could keep or you could also delete them on your list, that will depend upon you. But if you'll ask me, I have deleted some of those non-responsive members here. The thing that I always put in mind, there are still more of them to come and that it's better to move on than be taken aback by them. I'm not here mostly for the money, I'm out for good discussions being posted by responsible members. As long as my attention was caught by a specific topic, then I'd go and read it. If I liked the way it was written and knows something about it, then I'd respond to it without even asking for something in return. I'm all-over mylot, so friend's posts or not, count on me to be on that discussion!;)

I'm feeling shame now because I don't often my friends'discussion. I'm a new one here,and don't know what to do,so I seldom answer others' discission.But from now on I will try my best! Whay you say touched me!!!
