I do feel sorry for britney. I think her whole eratic behaviour all springs down to having to grow up too fast. Which i think is partly her mothers fault, she shouldn't have let her daughter start so early. Probably just because she never fulfilled her dreams she pushed them on her children. Also i blame the paps, even though she does show off for them, they should leave her alone to get better. Get well soon brit!

Well I think when you wind up with one daughter who is bipolar and has lost custody of the two kids she had with a loser in quick succession, and another one who got knocked up at the age of sixteen, there is probably something awry with your parenting skills. The trouble with the paps is, I worry that if they did stop following Britney around then she would do something drastic to get attention. She does seem to think they are her friends, and if they all abandoned her then it might traumatise her. I have no idea why they ever let the poor girl out of hospital, it is the safest place for her right now. I do hope she gets through this sooner rather than later.

There are a lot of child celebrities who grow up and do alright (Ron Howard, for example) but so many of them end up as troubled adults (Michael Jackson). I don't know if it's fair to blame the parents, though, because although some are pushed into show business, a lot of kids make that choice themselves. Britney may have grown up to be a troubled young woman without the celebrity, but all the media attention and pressure certainly aren't helping her any.
