How do you put photos on posts?

Exactly that. I am wondering how to do it. I wanted to share recipes. And where would I find this info pls.? Do the files have to be a certain size? My recipes would be one scanned page (that seems big)
I made an Italian Love cake for Valentine's Day and it is yummy.
If you can't put photos on posts, where else can you put them besides profile? I know how to add photos there.
This question came up when I was reading new posts. I had asked about photos with posts before, and thought I would try again.
Someone said that they had gotten .08 for a referral when it was a photo. I am wondering how to add to my earnings.

I think you need to have made more then 500 posts or comments or replys
For example your is twenty indicated by the (20)
I am not sure but i read it somewhere..
