Can someone recommend a good book for me to read. I haven't read a good book in a long time. You know why i love to read? because it brings me to another world. My favorite type are Romance novels because I am a romantic or a mystery but not scary, no no not anything scary please. Of course, a nice steamy book will do me just fine also :).

The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon is amazing and enthralling. They are filled with historical flavor and lots of steamy romance. Also, there is suspense and intrigue. They are not scary though. It is important to read them in order so you don't get confused. If you read them in order it is like a really long story separated into different volumes. This is definitely a 5 star series.

I am a book lover (not love booker) and I am glad you have evinced keen interest in reading the books. I can recommend to you to read Ayn Rand's Fountainhead and may be Atlas shrugged by the same author. Have you read the short stories of O'Henry. If you can place hand on Stephen Leacock's books, that will be great.Short stories by Guy Muppusant is another book in simple english, because it is translated from French. What about book entitled IN SEARCH OF EXCELLENCE? These are really good books.
