Yes I agree with you. Meaning of yahoo in dictionaries may be as you quoted here in your dictionaries. But here on line this word changed its meanings. Meaning of yahoo here on internet is a name of popular and famous search engine. We all know what is yahoo and what it work for. So we should not look in the dictionaries to search the meaning of yahoo.
