I just can't eat anything with a Y and a G in it!

So that pretty much limits me to yogurt :) Do you eat foods or combinations of foods that make the people around you shake their head or grimace in disgust? Do you eat foods that just don't sound right? Like I can't eat squash. Squash. It sounds like someone sat on my dinner plate. How about foods that have funny names, like guacamole? I can't say that word without smiling. It sounds like something I would say if I were on fire. HOLY GUACAMOLE! Someone put these flames out! My butt is burning! But no matter what it is, if it doesn't look right to me I just cannot eat it. I've asked men who have tried to cook dinner for me in the past to show me the picture of what they were telling me was on my plate, in a cook book. Then I would bet them money it didn't look like what I was looking at that looked like it was staring back at me. Two of the strangest things I eat are cheddar and sour cream potato chips with scrambled eggs. And I also eat cream cheese on honey mustard flavored pretzels. Neither are that disgusting to watch but my friends still think I'm crazy for these combinations. What are some of your favorite "weird" foods?

First of all, I can't eat peas- they gross me out and peeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...ewwww. Yes I know how to spell pea. LOL My weirdest combo is french fries dipped in mayo and then barbeque sauce. The best fries and sauces to use come from Denny's of all places. But this combo from anywhere suits me just fine. My friends think I'm weird for it and one friend can't watch me eat them, it just grosses her out too much. Maybe it's because I always try to get her to try it and it's relentless harassment. I dunno...:)

My soon to be sister in law mixes mayo and ketchup and dips her fries in that. I cringe every time I see her eat it. She says it's a Utah thing. I suspect the mayo and bbq sauce would make me look at you like your head was on backwards just the same. lol

I do have one favotire snack that everytime I bring a cup to work- people are like "ill what is that"- which I could never say to someone's food because I was taught diffrently I guess. It is cottage cheese. A majority of the people around me wouldn't even think about eating it as a snack- let alone eating it plain with no fruit added. I love it though- its a health snack and helps keep my girlish figure...lol.

I love cottage cheese. I even put it IN my salads. Everyone but my daughter thinks it's gross! But I like it. My grandmother use to fry onions in a stick of melted butter and pour that over a bag of cooked egg noodles then mix a whole container of cottage cheese into it. It tastes so good but I can't make it anymore cause the only people who will eat it are me and my girl and it just makes too much.

I guess I am fairly borning when it comes to food combinations. About the weirdest thing I eat would be banana and peanut butter sandwiches. That is the only thing for which I have ever received an odd glance while eating! I did have a college roommate who liked dill pickle and peanut butter sandwiches. She also likeed to take dry cereal (for instance corn flakes) and put some on a peanut butter sandwhich. I suppose she liked the 'crunch' of the cereal?

My mother eats frosted flakes on peanut butter sandwiches. I always thought she was nuts. Just buy crunchy peanut butter if you want the crunch. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches have always been popular in my house but only if eaten on toast. :)

I am perfectly normal, and therefore have no "weird" foods that I like. :P hahhahaha! My ex husband though... yikes! It would gross me out to see him dip his french fries in his "Wendy's Frostee" (frozen soft ice cream dessert). The thought of mixing potatoes and chocolate does NOT sound appetizing. I later found out that it's a very common like.. .mostly amongst men. I still think it's gross. Another thing my ex husband loved eating was cottage cheese mixed with applesauce. Oh.. and having a strawberry jam sandwich with a slice of process cheese in it. EWWWW!!!! If I hadn't divorced him for the affairs and him being such a nuckfuts, I might've just done it so I wouldn't have to see him eating those food combinations anymore. ROFLMAO!!!

ROFL @ nuckfuts. Too funny! I've never seen fries in a frosty and I watch 4 kids eat at wendys at least once a month. lol the cheese on the strawberry is kind of unnerving too.

The next time you're at Wendy's, have a look around at grown men (and teens I guess), eating their fries after dipping them in frostees. It'll surprise you how many do it.

Well I don't have many but I guess the weirdest one would have to be hot sauce in my mashed potatoes.
