One of the best Christian author is Charles Spurgeon! He was called the Prince of Preachers during his time. Another can be Jack Hyles.

I would have to say that N.T. Wright and C.S. Lewis are my favs. Both are extremely intelligent and have amazing words of wisdom to share. They are both able to expound on theology in a way that people can understand and dwell on.

I extremely extremely like N.T. Wright. But his books are not available in India. There was this book Who was Jesus? sent by SPCK to ISPCK which I bought. There is no other book besides this, to my knowledge, in the whole of India. But all his lectures in the websites I have listened to them. I am trying to buy his book Surprised By Hope when I have earned enough money through posting in mylot. I think I shall need one month more to be able to earn the required amount. His Simply Christian also has got wonderful reviews. Have you read the Christian Origin series... those fat books? Ah, I have also seen his first book. I have forgotten the name now. Read C S Lewis so much before, but shifted to more contemporary writer. John Stott and Philip Yancey have also taught me much through their books. Stott is a very popular and respected writer here in India.
