http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5iBu-XcIbTWANJa4G9rAd0jPdSmGw A Sikh is saying he's being discriminated against because he has to wear a helmet when riding his motorcycle. It's not discrimination when it's a law for everyone. There's not much question in my mind, you want to ride a motorcycle, wear a helmet.

Some people don't have any arguments other than discrimination. It is use and abuse by many people who chose to fallow tradition against all regulations.

What if this man got on his motorcycle ok, without a helmet and he has a crash and he hurts his head he will be the first one to sue!!! If he's still alive, the law is for his PROTECTION! Laws are made to protect people and it's common sense that riding a motorbike you need a helmet. Does he not value his life, because his turban will not protect his head if he has a nasty accident! People think more of discrimination than responsibility!

If it's important enough to wear a turban, then maybe he should give up his motorcycle, or resign himself to getting tickets. I don't think they passed a law to be discriminatory. I think they were thinking safety first.

If you want to ride a motorbike then yes you should follow the rules and wear a helmet. the rules are made to keep people safe and the rules should apply to everyone, a chosen few must not slip through the net. Just wear the helmet and look afrer yourself properly
