A look in to the future.

Yesterday, I was fooling around and had a numerology reading online. I was really surprised at just how accurate it was. Tarot cards, fortune reading, numerology and all of that kind of stuff has always fascinated me. I even had my cards read once and what the woman had to tell me wasn't completely postive and I could tell that she felt kind of bad about it. Which got me to thinking. If a fortune teller was able to tell you your exact date of death would you want to know so you could prepare for it? Or would you prefer just to let things happen as they will?

I've been tempted to look at my future with a fortuneteller many times already. But my faith controlled me. I guess, I am afraid to know what is in store for me. Or maybe it will be happier if things just comes out as a surprise.

The future foreseeing industry is one of the most complex scams on Earth. Although not all of those who practice it are well trained and tend to give it a very scientific appearance, it doesn't cease to amaze me how many people actually fall for it. Why don't you go ask the "astrologer" why do they only use 12 zodiacal signs when the Sun actually passes through 13 constellations...

Sorry, I got a bit carried away in attacking that pseudo-science that I forgot to respond the main question here. No, I don't want to know what and when is going to happen to me. I prefer taking things as they may come.

LOL. Thats ok. I think I tend to agree with you. I don't think I would want to know either.

I would want to know if i could, we all know that it is going to happen some day, I would love to know just for the fact i could get my affairs in order and give everything away to the people i would want to have whatever i am going to leave, it would be hard i guess when it was getting near the day but I like the silly idea of haveing everything being clean and in order...silly hey.

No, I don't think its silly at all. Some people would like to have their affairs in order, but I do think as the day grew closer it would be hard to know that it was coming.
