Is relationship getting stronger for money or power?

I find some people are changing the level of relationship to suit their convenience. During poverty, they maintain distance and when money comes they rushed to grip the relationship and closeness to power centered people. They seek relationship for wealth and power. Are they helpful or creating nuisanse to us. What is your view?

I think both influence the level of relationship. With power but without money one can't do much too. With money but without power, one will be manupulated by other. However I do agree that when we don't have both, people tend to avoid us.
