Comprasing Video -

Is there any way to comprase a video for uploading it online ? I want to upload a video of 2gb which is in 2 parts, so people can download it... But 2gb is alot of space online, I tried to ZIP it but still its big.... Please help if there is any other way around... I heard converting to FLA file....Any idea what is it about ?

Well 2 GB is a lot of space indeed. Zipping it doesn't help most of the times. But it helps to shrink the videos display size (i guess the one you currently have is a bit big). Also as someone in a previous reply told you you could use programs to compress the videos. I meself compress my videos to MPG format with the divx package. 2gb?wow...it's a lot space...if u use ZIP or RAR, it's just compress 20% file size. Before upload, you can do edit it.use a software video. like ulead new version. this software can help u for make a minimum size with format .mpeg or .mpeg4

2gb is alot of space. How long is the video?. I would try and lower the resolution of the video to 320x240 if it's going to be used for online streaming and such.
