Everytime i log in to mylot... i always check the population... and it seems that it is growing steadily but not rapidly... mylot now has more tha 120,000 members... and i am curious as to when it will reach its 1 millionth mark... But then at the rate of its population growth... it might take this site like 2 or 3 years to get to that number... What do you think are the advantages if mylot will reach the 1 millionth mark... do you think this site will be to crowded... or will it be able to accommodate all those members?...

Yeap. It is huge number. On one hand, I am wondering whether Mylot can handle such huge number and deliver good service for all members. On the other hand, I am happy that Mylot is becoming popular and our family is becoming biger and biger. We will learn more new ideas at that time and make more friends. It sounds good, doesn't it?

Yes, i does sound good... having more members also mean that more sharing of cultures from different parts of the world... thus more learning... i think mylot can handle 1 million members... since it is always trying to upgrade itself to please everybody... although not everybody is that easy to please... thanks for the response and welcome to mylot...

i don't think it will crowd mylot ,as people do join but only few of them are arealy active. thats what i feel and my friend list confirms it.

I agree with you... a lot of people sign up but then they don't even spend any time to participate in discussions... i saw the number of those with 1 and even 0 posts... so i think out of the 1 million members... only 25% will be active... thanks for the response...

I think its going to take time,. yes, may be 2-3 years more so. I generally do not watch mylot population so much . i think mylot can accomodate all. everyday there are new members. i think as orkut has not become crowded, it also won't become crowded.

I am not familiar with orkut... but yes, i think that the mylot admin can solve the problems of having a million members in this site... they should have a long term plan since this site is becoming more and more popular... thanks for the response...

Oh, it would seem to me that it could easily take in all the members. They might have to upgrade their equipment a few times and hire lots of new staff, but the more the merrier!

I watched the news the other night that friendster.com is way pass its 1 millionth mark so they hired more people... i think like 30 in my country since a lot of users are Filipinos... i hope this sort of thing will happen to mylot... grow... grow...grow... and grow... more members, more employees... thus more jobs...

Hello aseretdd, I am not too sure whether it will bring advantage or disadvantage for existing and loyal My Lot members when it reaches its 1 millionth mark. Hopefully My Lot team has the way to handle all of us here. Personally, I think it will be better as we have more choices when we have more people around here. I remember reading a few discussions about payment matter which they said getting lesser compare to previous time when My Lot had just started. I hope it will not true as it is one of the main reasons why some members are here - to earn something.

1) The current statistical number of members is about 120,000. 2) What is the real statistic of ACTIVE members? 3) Mathematical extrapolation is very hard to achieve in sites of this nature. 4) You could probably nominate approximately when MyLot reaches say 150,000., buy reaching one million is very far off and difficult and becomes also very inaccurate. 5) Are you aware of what type of organisation MyLot is ? 6) It would be nice to hear from CRASH as to how MyLot is ran and administered.

It is quite difficult to set up a statistics of active mylot members since those who are inactive for quite some time would suddenly turn up... just like me... i was inactive for like 3 to 4 months... but became very much active afterwards... i think crash was able to answer the type of organization mylot is... but i don't know the page... Well we would have to wait for a while, i think, befor Crash decides to appear again since he spent more that 48 hours answering all those 200 plus questions.... thanks for the quick response...
