running shoes that's comfortable

I'm using adidas shoes and it really feels different compared to the one i've been using for 2 years. i'm just wondering for you guys who have been running for many years what model and brand made a difference in your running. and how often you change shoes is it per mile, year, or wear and tear. i guess shoes can affect some injuries in this sport.

Well I was using nike and adidas before for running shoes and it was great. But now that I am not doing much activity or sports activity, I am using merril shoes. Its rather expensive but it suits my activity. Its waterproof and oil safe.
