I know the point they ended at doesn't leave much to continue on, but I would love to see new episodes! And! If there is no possible way of coming up with new episodes, make another spinoff.. not sure where they would really go with it.. I don't know! I guess I just miss the show "Angel", haha :P

I was also going to recommend you follow the comics which is supposed to be season 6 and a continuation of the series finale on tv. I am very happy with it if only that it gives me my Angel fix. Personally, I am more invested in the Buffy Season 8 comics - I like the art and the writing style more and it feels more like the tv show than the Angel comics do. I also think the storyline is more interesting to follow with the Twilight as the Big Bad. Regardless, I am thoroughly enjoying both comic series for the sole reason that it helps keep the buffyverse alive. Despite my highest desire to see Buffy and Angel back on tv or the big screen, I highly doubt that will ever happen. I get the impression that Sarah Michelle Gellar ended things on good terms with Joss Whedon, which would make it difficult to ever reunite the cast to film more episodes or a movie. That's a shame because I think Sarah Michelle Gellar's best acting has come from Buffy. I devoutly watch all her released movies, and although I still do admire her, she has never reached the calibre of acting as she had in Buffy. As for Angel, I think his show Bones is doing relatively well, even getting picked up for another season next year. I actually never liked David Boreanaz in Buffy but grew to love his character in the Angel series. I think regardless of the casts' ages, if everybody were on board and the networks or studios would give it a chance, Buffy and Angel could be revived! There is such a huge following that I could not see it NOT being a success.

* Oops, I meant to say SMG ended things on *bad* terms with Joss Whedon. When you watch special featurettes showing the cast reuniting or the wrap party, SMG is never present. It's sad, really.

the storyline from the end of the series has now been continued in the comics that are being published by Dark Horse Comics. With most of the actors being very succesful in their current endevours, I think it's pretty much never going to happen. Not to mention, the show would probably have to be recast. Angel was supposed to have been 26 when he was turned, and David Boreanaz is nearly 40, he still looks great but not exactly eternally 26.

I had high hopes for the season 6 comic book, but it's just so so, in my opinion. I love the season 8 Buffy comic, though.

I loved the show too. But there is no hope that they will bring the show back. Especially when David Boreanaz has let it be known that he is not interested in returning to the role as Angel. If you are still up for an Angel fix. They have come out with comics based on the show Angel that I'm not sure but I think start off where the show left off.

Angel, as in the spin off from Buffy the Vampire Slayer? The one with David Boreanaz? Hasn't that been off the air for a long time now? I used to watch that show. BUt I haven't watched TV in a year, so I have no idea anymore

Angel was one of my favorite shows. It was a spinoff of Buffy, and I only watched Buffy every once in a while. But I LOVED Angel. I don't think they would bring it back. I think they got to a point and didn't know where else to go. Maybe a reunion movie, one that lets you see what actually happened to everyone, because you never really know if anyone even survived.

Season 6 exists in comic book form but it didn't really gel well with me. Season 8 of Buffy in comic form is much more fun...
