Do you like to go out shopping? I love to windowshop once a while though I am not the type to get bored and and crammed within the confines of my home.I can be happy reading a book or watching television or working on my comp for an extended period of time. However, when we plan to go out shopping once a while I look forwazrd to it and though I don't buy as and what my fancy takes me i just love to keep looking around. I wear a nice new saree and enjoy going out with my family. When it concerns shopping with a purpose I really love it and feel very fulfiilled if our shopping was a success and we got exactly what we wanted. My husband does not care for aimlessly looking around though he tolerates it for the sake of company. Do you think women tend to like windowshopping more than what men do?

I am not a big shopper. I am a very quiet person and very content to stay at home lots. I never get bored. I read alot, write and get on this computer...take care of my girls etc. I am not very materialistic but I do like nice things. Next week is vacation for my daughter and I am taking her and her friends to the mall out of town for the day....for once I am actually syked about shopping. It isnt about the shopping but the time I will be spending with or lets say on my daughter. I am sure I'll be in the background while they have fun. Afterwards there will be a sleep over with movies and pizza.;..can't wait. I'm sure i'll be doing alot of window shopping but the only reason i will enjoy this is because of my daughter. i really don' t enjoy shopping.

I like windowshopping, and could spend a whole day in it when I have a good mood. However,I have not shopping frequantly, for I feel it is really waste of my time. What's more, when I meet some luxury goods, especially which fit me so much, without enough money, this makes me frustrated. In fact, the significant thing in windowshopping is frame of mind that depends on who is the companions.Several men truely hate windowshopping,e.g. you are appreciating a beautiful skirt, while they are sitting beside for a rest.In a contrary, shopping with women, you can enjoy yourshelf best.

Thanks for the response. It is true that many men hate shopping and this is justifiably so.When i was young[some twenty five years back] my husband used to come with me to the shops.I used to wonder at why he started getting irritable little realizing that I had no right to drag him along and make him participate in an activity that did not truly interest him. Slowly I started realising this and I used to promise him that I would finish shopping within a particular time limit and abided by my promise.. After a few years I started shopping with my mother, sister, sisinlaw etc.., Now I request my husband to accompany me only for some special occasions and everyone is happy. I have learned to roam around windowshopping by myself too. Only with passing years and added maturity we realize that some activities are better done with better suited people. Men should never be taken along for shopping of women's attire. We would feel like seeing a hundred items before choosing one or rejecting the whole lot.

Much more. My wife like to see all the 500 t-shirts and 400 pants!! But that´s ok. That way she choose what´s best for her!

My guess is that you are one of those patient husbands who stands by her through her shopping.THE FIRST TWO WORDS SPOKE VOLUMES OF THE LEVEL WHERE YOU ARE. But, one thing I feel like admitting is that the final choice of ours would be the third or fourth item that we saw[on many an occasion] but we feel a sense of incomplete shopping if we do not see those five hundred things before making the final choice.I have found and heard other women saying the same.

Men would certainly mind this. So, the best thing would be not to force them to come along.May be, the woman should ask her man to finish some work of his [combine it in such a way] and join him after her shopping is over.He can meet with her within a stipulated time.

But that isn´t really an issue. That´s more like a fact lol. It´s all about the luck to find a man that don´t mind this kind of shopping!!!

Like many other women, I also love to go shopping whether with cash out or plain window shopping. When I was still unattached or single, I would invite my younger sister to go to the mall to see the latest trends and check out new items. We would spend more than three hours in stores on a regular basis. It's great to hang out with someone close to you - spending time together and having a bonding time. But nowadays, since I got married; we rarely go out - primarily because we lack enough funds or we're merely saving up for our daughter's education. If ever we do go out (my husband, me and our two-year old daughter); we'd always be back in less than two hours, with eating time included. Honestly, I kinda miss strolling and going out to malls. I believe it would take some time before my daughter and I could go to malls on an extended period of time.

I love shopping! That is of course when I have enough money to spend. lol! From time to time, my boyfriend and I go window shopping and I must say that it is really fun. However, at times, I don't like window shopping because I get tempted to buy something that I see even if I know that I shouldn't. There are also times when I do not want window shopping because if I saw something and vowed to buy that the next time I go that department store or mall and it's no longer available when I am ready to buy it, I feel really bad. I think both men and women love window shopping. It's just that they don't go to the same store.

One thing that I have always realized is if you look at something and plan for it to be bought after afew days then the chances of obtaining the same are quite bleak. In a way, when you windowshop you must not desire something too avidly if you are not in aposition to buy it then and there. This may help you not to get disappointed. Thanks for the response.

I really hate shopping! Mainly I think it boils down to I hate it because Ive never had any money to enjoy it. When I go shopping its because I need to and I am always on a budget. I do love window shopping, I sometimes go with my mum and we just go in all the shops and have a good browse round without actually buying anything which is quite good fun. I cant do that with my husband because hes the sort where you have to know which shops you are going and what you want and get it all as fast as possible, he hates it and he is a real pest to go shopping with I get really ratty with him! That is probably another reason I dont like shopping!

I love shopping but i think we need to have cash in our pockets before we shop or else we can do window shopping and buy the product later.I mostly look out for products on the internet.compare the rates and then buy it at a local shop.

I absolutly adore shopping! I could spend hours, and probably hundreds of dollars, just wandering around the mall. When I am sad or feel horrible I have a tendency to take my credit card and go to the mall. One day I put over two hundred dollars on my credit card because I felt so low. I have now realized that this is irrational and definatly not good for my credit rating or my financial status. I tend to like randomly shopping much better than shopping with a purpose. I find shopping while I am looking for something specific to be incredibly more stressful than shopping for myself or for fun. I generally shop by myself so I do not have to drag someone along on my shopping expeditions that could alst for hours at a time if they may not enjoy it as much as I do. Also, if someone with me does not enjoy themselves i will also have a bad time

Yes, I am like you, my greater passion is books and browsing the net and posting in my blog page. But still if given a chance to go out I love to be out doing window shopping, just looking around what all the things that are available in the market. It is just awesome to have company while you windowshop. We do shop for groceries every month but still if it is shopping for dress, I wish to go to some different shops to get what I want but DH wants to just get into one shop choose the one which attracts at the first instance. So it always is boring to go out on a shoping expedition with DH. I prefer to go with friends or with my mom.

Very sensible to choose people with same tastes and attitudes for company to go shopping[especially when it concerns clothes] I go shopping with my sisterinlaw if it is sarees. My husband accompanies me on very special occasions. Thanks for the response.
