Is The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub, Any Good?

I've currently read 200 pages of The Talisman but am not impressed or entertained.
Im wondering if it gets better?
Should I stick to it, and continue reading?
Or is it a wasted endevour?

I recommend you not to read such rubbish. I have read these and now I regret the time I lost reading these. I cannot stop you but I'm still recommending you not to.

It's been several years, but the Talisman was one of my favorites out of his collection. But I do like that sort of genre alot so I could be slightly biased. If memory serves me right, it does get better if you keep reading. -Tink
