What do you think of the Twilight Princess game?

Ok, to be honost, I've played better Zelda games. I mean, yes this game is pretty cool with the updating of older baddies, the awesome graphics, and some new items like the ball and chain (my fav. new weapon). But It was WAY to easy. On Ocarnia of Time, I had to have the Strategy Guide to beat it. Of Course, I was a bit younger then, but still, I had played Zelda games all my life up to that point (literaly, one of my very first memorys was playing the original Zelda), so I knew how Zelda games worked. Idkn, Nintendo brought some new and cool Ideas to the table with this game, but Idkn, it's lacking somthing. like there weren't many swords/sword upgrades, no fire/ice/light arrows that link could use (HUGE upset for me), no mirror shield (another large upset for me), among other things. Don't get me wroung, I liked the game, especialy for it's sword play and fighting the Dark Nuts. That was very fun (by the way, I'm talking about the Wii version here). So, what do you think? My final verdict: Good, but I've definatly played better. (P.S. My fav. Zelda: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past).

I hate to be a retrogressor... No wait, no I don't, Link to the Past is by far the best. The storyline, the gameplay, everything in that game was phenomenal. I personally prefer brightly colored sprites as compared to rendered flashiness. My main reason being that the idea of gameplay is thinning out and most "gamers" (and I use this term loosely) spend %99.9 of their time worrying about graphical quality. Of course graphics matter in some ways because a horrendous looking game isn't going to appeal to you very much, and conversely a beautiful game could be lacking depth in every other field, but people still buy it "because the graphics are AMAZING!" Twilight Princess was good, but seemed far too easy compared to other Zelda games. It looked nice, and the Wii controls were pretty spot on, but I don't think there will be a Zelda in the future that will knock out Link to the Past, unless of course they do a Retro-Remake of LttP.

I'm right there with you! Did you happen to feel some elements rehashed from LttP in Twi. Princess?

Certain parts did tend to feel a bit Link to the Past-ish (lol), but it's hard to translate the gameplay from LttP into a 3d universe, although I think if they did remake it, it would be phenomenal.

I think that it was a great game. The graphics were awesome and the new characters were innovative and neat. Love it.

My thoughts of Twilight Princess were a little disappointing. Hyrule was absolutely huge to explore. Sad thing is due to the teleportation ability that was granted to you early in the game, I barely got to see each and every corner of the game on my 1st (and only) playthrough. In Ocarina of Time I knew every single inch of that field, every INCH. The ending battle with Ganondorf on horseback was awesome though. Although my file had some sort of bug in it. No matter how many times I hit him (I was in this battle for a good 2 hours), Ganondorf would NOT DIE. And I'm positive I was doing it correctly after watching videos on how to kill him. Overall, it was a fair game. I didn't like the wolf transformation idea much. 8.5/10 from me.

I thought it was a great game. Mind you, not the best, but still a really great game. I do think though that the series needs to undergo a major change and that's what I believe they are doing with the next Zelda.

hey,i don't think that Twilight Princess of zelda is that fun....the one that i like the most is zelda minish cap...the cap is something like a duckie..the duck helps you with many quest of zelda, when the health of Link is full, his normal attack will have skills, its so cool, well, and i like to use bow instead of the sword, the monster will get near me and i don't know what to do,so i use bow...i have completed the whole game though....it is not fun to replay the games that you play..:)

I was hoping for it to be a lot better than it was from the trailers. But it wasn't that bad on the replays. Still, wasn't good enough to go in my top 5.
