Manchester United have never had a foreign manager(Only from British teritory). It had just occured to me that ManU are the only one of the big clubs that have not followed suit, and emloyed a manager from the continent. Fergusons being around since 1986, and someday he would be replaced. If Manu were to employ a new manager for the next season, then who would you choose??? For me I wuld love to see Roy Kean at the helm, so tell me your opinion

I don't think Roy Keane will take over next. I think Ferguson will be here for a couple of years still and then Queiroz or Hughes or maybe both. Keane will probably manage Manchester United one day though, I think the future is bright - I look forward to every game, every season, every decade!

I think in the next season Fergie still a manager of MU because of his enthusiasm while Keane is so young. Keane is potential manager but has not enough experience to lead a ambition and rich tradition like MU. I forcast Keane will be a manager of MU but so far. Vote me my best responnse pls ;)

he's really good but hey, lets accept the fact people get old lost track of their chances.. but lets still hope he will be ManU's boss next season..

I hope Ferguson can still be around for a few more seasons. I hope he will also be around to guide the new manager. Roy Keane is a true Red Devil. I would love to see him managing a club. However, he is still not experienced enough. If Peter Schmeichel ever decides to be a manager, I hope to see him back. He is my favorite goalkeeper of all time. =)

Schmeichel is a good goalkeeper alright, I would love to see him to manage ManU,and I imagine if he manage Manu alongside with the King Eric Cantona...I would love to see that

like you guys say, I hope he is about for a few more years yet. In terms of a replacemnt there is carlos querioz, roy keane, mark hughes, even eric cantona name been mentioned. But in my own personal opinion I would not have a former player as manager because obviously this player may of been huge at the club and a fans favourite. what happens if things dont go well for that manager and the club/fans get on his back and his personal standing/respect within the club would be damaged. I would get a good/upcoming manager from some where not connected to the club

Well I'm not totally agree with you, I think a former player is have more knowledge about the clubs that can affect the way He handled the club..Thank you, best response so far

i agree with you.. u cant tell what people feel after things happen. respect may still be there, but the reputation.. ehem its gonna be questionable... i mean for me.. graeme souness is a good player, but as a manager sacked.. no way..

yes, there are several names is pop out to replace fergie in the future. But if i have the power to choose ill go for Eric Cantona, he got all the characteristics that manager should have.

I would like to see the special one Jose Maurinho to be the next manager of Manchester united. He will be the perfect partner with the current assistant manager carlos quiroz

I think Sir Alex Ferguson will still be around for a couple of years. To me Sir Alex is always the best manager ever and it is not easy to maintain any team for a long time since 1986 until today. He is all for Manchester United and he will be a legend one day.I don't think Roy Keane is in his list to be his successor for Manchester United's manager. Keane maybe a good captain but not good manager.

agreed about roy keane as manager but not yet. give him time to learn the managers ways and bout 3 or 4 years time he will be ready for manu. in the mean time id say frank rijaard (barca manger for peeps who dont know) dont think hes gonna be at barca for much longer. i think he would make a great united manager
