Fidel Castro Resigns

Dictator Castro has finally resigned. He resigned this morning in an open letter to the Cuban People. It is expected the Cuban parliment will name his little brother Raul as his replacement. How do you think this affects US-Cuban relations? My two cents: It will worsen. Raul is said to be worse than his brother in every sense of the word. He has a horrible temper, is thirstier for power and hates the United States as much if not more. Your two cents?

Strong leaders have a long history of not delegating power well and having no one waiting to succeed them. I expect that Cuba without Fidel Castro will be a real mess whoever the new leader.
