Have you been to the Kraft Foods website? They have some really good stuff there. I hope its ok to post this link, I don't get anything from it. http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf They also put out a free magazine that is chock full of recipes, I believe it comes out monthly. Its is awesome! It's called 'Food & Family', and I'm sure you can find the place to sign up somewhere on the site. Good luck!

That's funny. The magazine is called "Food and Family" in the U.S. and "What's Cooking" in Canada. Hmmm... I'm sure we're talking about the same magazine. LOL!

I don't like the box mac and cheese. I make it for my son from time to time, but I usually make my mac and cheese from scratch. When my son eats it he either eats it plain or with cut up hot dog in it. If I am eating the boxed stuff I sprinkle some chili powder in it to liven it up a bit.

You need to get a subscription to What's Cooking from Kraft. It doesn't cost anything. Check out the Kraft website. One of our favourite recipes from that book (we just had it last night). It consists of ground beef, salsa, corn and Tex Mex Cheese. You brown the ground beef, then add 2 cups of water, 1 cup of salsa and the KD noodles. Simmer for 10 minutes until the noodles are ready. Then add KD cheese powder and corn (the suggestt 2 cups frozen corn; I use one can of corn). Cook another 2 minutes until heated through. Somewhere in there they mention green onion but I don't keep it in the house so don't use it. You are supposed to add the Tex Mex Cheese after it is served on the plate but I sprinkle it on top while still in the frying pan because I keep it in the freezer so I put a lid on it until the cheese is melted. All members of my family love this meal. It is so easy to do, even last minute. I think we have it twice a month.

Well, I'm anxious to see the responses on this! We don't add anything to ours... we're kind of boring! lol! But I'd love to read what others add to make theirs more tasty! I've heard some people add ketchup to their mac and cheese but I don't like it like that and neither do my kids.

Normally we eat ours as is, but occasionally we add some cubes of Spam that have been fried. Tasty and a bit of a change now and then.
