Did you watch The L Word from the beginning?

Or did you start watching it more recently? I think I started watching The L Word either at the end of season 2 or somewhere in season 3. I'm finally going back and watching season 1 now to see what all the stuff in Jenny's movie is about. It's kind of interesting going back.

Oh I wish Jenny would go away too! I used to like Shane, but I don't like how she's become even more of a, umm... I don't know how to say it without using a banned word, but you know, lol, lately. But then again, after watching season 1 I guess she kind of was that way from the beginning. I couldn't even believe she went out with Alice's mom! I really liked Alice before this season, but now I'm not so sure. I think my favorite character is Bette though actually.

yea shane was a ho-riffically friendly girl if u get my meaning but she always has been, now she tends to fall in love for a bit, my favorite characters rotate pretty regularly as i always identify with some part of the character and then they change their story lines.. i liked marina, i thought she was great..

I really don't like Marina much so far. But I guess I'm disappointed in her for breaking up Jenny and Tim. I'd rather Jenny still be straight and not on the show. ;)

I have watched this show since the very first episode. I still miss Dana terribly. She was one of my favorites on the show. There have been many changes and a lot of heartache. I will watch every episode of this show until the bitter end!! PEACE

What's funny is that now since I'm watching Season 1 at the same time as the current season, I look forward to new episodes of each... since Season 1 is also new to me and I haven't had time to just sit there and watch every last episode in a row (almost to the end though).

Season 1 explains what Jenny's movie is about. She didn't protect anyone that hangs in her group as the names are so very similar to the actual people named in her film. Thanks for BR. PEACE

It is a family trait to come in the middle of great movies or t.v. shows. I came in the middle of the second season, I think. The first storyline I remember was Dana coming out. But I got lucky, Showtime re ran the first seasons And had them on On Demand so I got to catch up.I liked the earlier seasons better than this season, so far. It makes me wonder if they jumped the shark with Shane's Non wedding.

I think what happened with that was that they probably had to write Carmen off the show for some reason. Was she in anything else immediately after that?

Aw, sorry to hear you don't like the show. I could kind of see what you mean though. I'm just finishing up watching Season 1 and I thought it was really good back then, and it's kind of going downhill a bit now sometimes it seems.

The show was in it's second season when I started watching it, but I watched the first season on DVD (through Blockbuster) before I watched the second one. So I watched it in chronological order. I was hooked from the pilot on. I think the First and Fifth season were the best. Seasons two and especially three nearly lost me. I thought they were pretty bad, but fourth came around and peaked my interest and actually had me excited about season Five.
