Tatoos - good or bad?

What do you think of tatoos? Do you think that they look cool or look bad? I feel that some of them are OK, but when they are too big and too obvious they are not a good thing. It makes it difficult for work and also if you change your mind then it is a major issue to try and remove it

I have four tattoos, each one of them is my own artwork and done by a very professional tattooist. I am very happy with my tattoos, and have no regrets at all, I have a small dragon, a portrait of Brandon Lee as The Crow, an ornate dreamcatcher with a black widow spider on the web and the image of The Crow

I got my eyebrows tattooed in 12th grade. It's now 6 years later and I have no regrets. The only thing I recommend is that you follow the natural line of your brow. That way you can grow your brow back in if you want. My tattoo faded in 4 years so now it is not as noticeable and I just draw it in. But, since I can just follow the line it's easy. I also grow my brow in slightly so when I shade it in, it looks softer and more natural. It does hurt a little but it was alot better and quicker than my other tats!

for me.. its all bad, first i believe that our body is temple or God... whatever we do to it, we owe it to God... so might as well leave it as it is.. hehe well also, i think it would prove to be a nuisance at some point... more so if you get tired of the design and all... so you've got to pay again for removal.. now that's hassle.

It depends... Some find it bad, some find its not. One thing is for sure, Tattoos are definitely not for everyone. They can be very personal, they can be just for fun.I have nothing against tattoos... but I dont want to have one on my body. I hate needles... that is one reason i dont want a tattoo. And personally, I myself dont find it attractive.I really cant imagine to have one. maybe I am just old fashion. But like what I've said, I have nothing against those who like tattoos on their body.

I like my large very obvious tattoo. It means a lot to me because I got it for my sons.

To me it look bad. Why have tatoos on your body. As youve said there are some establishments not accepting applicants with tatoos. It is very unhealthy to look at. And yes you cannot just remove it when you like. If your really like use the temporay tatoo, like hena.

I don't mind tattoos as long as they are simple and subtle. I do, however, find it quite offensive when somebody is covered from head to toe in tattoos though. Besides, you can get the temporary ones these days, which can be removed without any fuss, if you grow tired of them. I think they would suit me better. I don't fancy the pain of having tattoos done, too much. :) Brightest Blessings.

I'm considering to get one. It would be modified version of HR Giger's Li II. Sure it's important to get something you know you'll like it forever. One of my friends was 16 when he got tattooed some Nazi crap. Now he's out of that stupid faze and he regrets it...

I definitely think that tattooing is a beautiful artform, and there are people who have their bodies decorated magnificently, by people who truly appreciate the beauty. That doesn't mean that all tattoos are nice, and tasteful, it doesn't mean that all people that have tattoos are good or bad. I guess it's similar to the clothing that people choose to wear, and decorate themselves with. Some are fantastic, while others leave a lot to be desired. It's not about whether Tattoos as a whole are good or bad, but if people make the right choices for themselves. =)

I myself am not a tattoo person, but feel to each their own. The ones in which it signifies something, I don't mind as much as all that non sense stuff.. Such as a big ole skull and cross bones.. Don't people know that when they get in the 60s - 70s it won't look anything like it does in present time of when getting it?

I think if you want to get one that means something to you, that is great. But my best friend got a rose just so she could say she got a tattoo and it doesn't mean anything to her. She was just going through a mid life crisis.
