I woke up this morning with terrible cramps in my stomach. There are no pain killers in the house so I have spent the majoirty of today curled up in the fetal position but the pain is beginning to become. Does anyone have any remedies that can make my stomach cramps go away that do not involve over the counter medications?

A heating pad or a hot water bottle. I get terrible cramps once a month and no amount of midol can make them stop.
I take two Aleve and lay on a heating pad for 30 minutes. It makes me feel better long enough to get some work done but I would have to repeat it when I went to bed.
If you don't have a heating pad take a nice long hot bath. Just lay there for a while relaxing. It might not make them go away but it should take the edge off.
You also might want to put a pillow between your legs when you are doubled over in the fetal position laying down. It helps too.

I remember you told me that your stomach was bothering you. I'm sorry. I know how bad stomach pains can get. They can be a royal headache sometimes, or should I say stomach ache? I'm not sure. Regardless, hopefully you feel better. I don't know if it was your actual stomach (the organ the food goes into) or what that was hurting, but if it was, you can try microwaving a mug of water till it's fairly warm, bordering on hot, and then drink a mug or two of it. It usually helps my stomach calm down, just from the heat radiating from the inside. Next time you get a stomach ache, try it. It usually works for me. Hopefully you'll get lucky and it will work for you too! I know it can suck when you're sick and in pain and can't do anything about it, but keep your head up!
