Foxyfire's discussion about hitting a deer and totalling her car made me think about something that happened to me a number of years ago. It was Thanksgiving time and I decided to surprise my parents and come home a day early. I left at about quarter of 7 in the evening. I hit a deer about 20 minutes later and totalled my car. While I was sitting in the cop car, I heard the dispatcher over the radio talking about me. Apparently, my mom had called my apartment and when I wasn't there, she got a bad feeling and had my dad call the state police because she was sure something was wrong. The dispatcher was really surprised when the cop told her that my parents were right and I was in his car waiting for an ambulance to the ER for x-rays. My mom and I were always close. She was my best friend. I think it was amazing that she just knew I was in trouble. Have you ever had that kind of connection with anyone?

I've not had anything like that, at least I'm not recalling anything like that at the moment. I have to wonder if I'll experience something like it in the future. I do not count second-guessing or estimation or anything trivial(like someone probably needed something from the store). So really, unless something comes to mind, I've got nothing like what you described Trace.
